House District 98
From NolaWiki
District 98 in the Louisiana House of Representatives runs generally from the Jefferson Parish line to Napoleon Avenue, between the Mississippi River and Claiborne Avenue, and also includes the Broadmoor neighborhood and one additional precinct of about 12 blocks bounded by Tchoupitoulas Street, Marengo Street, Magazine Street and Napoleon. It is currently represented by state Rep. Neil C. Abramson.[1]
Prior to 2011 state legislative redistricting, House District 98 was shaped far differently[2]. It included the neighborhoods between Audubon Park and the universities and Jefferson Avenue, then arched up through Broadmoor, the Hoffman Triangle area of Central City, and into the Treme and Lower Mid-City.
