House District 93

District 93 in the Louisiana House of Representatives covers much of the Central Business District, French Quarter, Treme and Seventh Ward, as well as a portion of the Garden District.[1]
The district is currently held by Democrat Helena Moreno after a special election on May 29, 2010, to fill a vacancy left by Karen Carter Peterson's election to Senate District 5.
Prior to the 2011 legislative redistricting session, District 93 generally included more of Mid-City and less of the Seventh Ward.[2]
